Description
This dim sum restaurant's interior design blends modern and traditional elements to create a space that feels both lively and nostalgic. The foundation of the design is built with ash wood and deep coffee-colored spray paint, offering a warm and elegant atmosphere. The natural texture of the wood combined with the rich tones of the paint gives the space a refined and layered look.
The walls feature blue striped wallpaper that adds a light, flowing feel to the room, while decorative steamers of various sizes take center stage. These steamers not only pay homage to the culture of Hong Kong dim sum but also bring an artistic touch to the space, showcasing a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
The furniture adds a vibrant pop with yellow chairs and blue tables. The contrasting colors inject energy into the space, making it feel relaxed and playful. This color combination makes the dining experience feel not only about the food but also about being in a lively, dynamic environment.
To enhance the nostalgic feel, the design team cleverly used burlap for text and image transfers. The texture of the burlap, along with these nostalgic elements, brings a sense of warmth and memory into the modern design. Every detail, from the traditional steamers to the burlap accents, helps turn this restaurant into a place where culture and emotions come together. The design doesn’t just offer delicious dim sum but also provides a unique experience, where the past and present harmoniously meet, creating a space that’s visually and emotionally rich.
